The CENTER serves as FRTS and FRTC's main headquarters, as well as a drop-in decompression and counseling/crisis center in response to many of our first responders who have reported that they don’t have a place to go after a really bad shift and are not ready to go home.
The CENTER (Counseling - Education - Navigation - Training - Empowerment - Resources) provides a respite to individuals who need a safe place to land and decompress prior to going home to their families. The environment at The CENTER is warm and welcoming and provides anonymity when requested.

The second FUTURE, facility will be Northern Colorado's first experiential CAMPUS a for not only First Responders and Frontline Workers but First Responder / Frontline Worker Retirees. The CAMPUS will be located on the same property as The CENTER setting, providing First Responders/Frontline Workers rest, reprieve, and a safe and supportive place to disengage from the daily trauma they experience serving their communities. The CAMPUS will have multiple areas and programs to decompress, with research supported programs to alleviate anxiety, depression and Post Trauma Stress Injuries (PTSi).
Our VISION FOR First Responders and frontline workers
First Responder Trauma Services Fundamentals
First Responder Trauma Services (FRTS) has a unique support model that offers agency employees access to a robust clinical team and medical/behavioral health and other wellness resources. First responders and frontline workers are connected with culturally competent and culturally aware clinicians who have first-hand experience in their respective frontline cultures. FRTS is committed to serving these specific populations 24/7 365 to help them better serve you!
Our clinicians offer evidence-based therapeutic modalities and do not limit the number of sessions our First Responders/Frontline Workers receive in the course of their care. The FRTS model also provides an immediate response to a First Responder/Frontline Worker in crisis, ensuring priority outreach or medical/behavioral support and close follow-up. Our motto is"No One Fights Alone."
AT FRTS, WE CARE FOR THOSE
WHO CARE FOR YOU!
