OUR VISION
Our emergency workers are exposed to excessive traumatic events throughout their career and are held to a standard by society that they perform with perfection and sound judgment in all cases without being emotionally or physically affected. In Northern Colorado, we have placed our trust in these individuals without affording them a culturally appropriate safety net to mitigate the physically and emotionally demanding parts of their career.
Our vision is to build and provide crisis mitigation through a National Resource Center which will stand as a beacon of hope and support, letting our First Responders/Frontline Workers know that their lives matter when they have lost the capacity for their own self care, on the days when their personal or physical struggle is overwhelming. FRTS believes in operating with honesty and compassion; always placing the needs of our tribe members first, despite the times that these decision may be difficult to make. We believe that the right decision is ALWAYS right, but not necessary easy. FRTS will be among the best in the country to provide innovative care from local and state partnerships with culturally competent staff and clinicians. We serve those that serve You.

Our VISION with First Responders and frontline workers
First Responder Trauma Services Fundamentals
First Responder Trauma Services (FRTS) has a unique support model that offers agency employees access to a robust clinical team that connects medical and behavioral health and other expansive resources. The First Responders and Frontline Workers are connected with culturally competent and aware clinicians who have first-hand experience in their respective frontline cultures. FRTS is committed to serving these specific populations 24/7 365 to help them better serve you!
Our clinicians offer evidence-based therapeutic modalities and do not limit the number of sessions our First Responders/Frontline Workers receive in the course of their care. The FRTS model also provides an immediate response to a First Responder/Frontline Worker in crisis, ensuring priority outreach or medical/behavioral support and close follow-up. Our motto is"No One Fights Alone." At FRTS, WE CARE FOR THOSE WHO CARE FOR YOU!
Our Vision for ALL First Responders and Frontline Workers
A vital step in supporting this essential group of individuals, FRTS above and beyond the services already provided is the (FUTURE), build of a Crisis Mitigation & Resource Center. This drop-in facility will provide critical, short-term treatment for all FirstResponder/Frontline Workers and office space for FRTS administrative and clinical staff. This FUTURE facility will be a welcoming, safe and confidential location where our members receive immediate medical/behavioral health interventions and support from our professional team.
First Responder Trauma Services' Crisis Mitigation & Resource Center will stand as a beacon of hope and help 24/7 365, assuring our First Responders and Frontline Workers that their lives matter when they have lost the capacity for their own self care, on the days when their personal or physical struggle is overwhelming. This population group is Committed to helping you, please Commit to helping them TODAY!
The second FUTURE, facility will be the nation's first experiential dual-diagnosis, medical detox and inpatient treatment retreat and care center specifically for First Responders and Frontline Workers. The facility will be located in a remote ranch mountain setting, providing First Responders/Frontline Workers rest, reprieve and long term clinical treatment, and a safe and supportive place to disengage from the daily trauma they experience serving their communities.
